About Me

Grant was born in South Africa and immigrated to Canada with his family when he was 7 years old.  He grew up in the Alberta foothills and spent much of his youth snowboarding and fishing in and around Jasper National Park.  After graduating with a business degree Grant traveled through Mexico and South America for two years before deciding it was time to get a "real" job back in Canada.  It became immediately evident to Grant that growing up and working in a cubicle was no fun and that he was missing the mountains terribly.  When the opportunity came to live in the Kootenays he convinced his wife that it would be a great move.  She fell for it, and 10 years later they have no regrets.  Grant lives an Rossland BC with his wife, two kids and dog, Macy.
